Sullivan & Associates assisted Westvaco Corp. and SCANA Corp. with building and operating a power cogeneration facility at Westvaco’s Kraft paper mill in North Charleston, S.C. The plant provides steam power to the mill and generates up to 99 MW of electricity for South Carolina Electric & Gas Co., a SCANA subsidiary. Sullivan & Associates was contracted for radiographic inspection services on power piping systems during the construction of the boilers.
